tall poppies design thinking

"Viktoria is one of those rare gems, a brilliant facilitator who just 'gets it.' Wonderful to work with, she is engaging, has a playful and fun style that is loved by our students.

I had the pleasure of working with her across two terms where Viktoria ran weekly sessions with our year 6 student leaders.

The feedback was exemplary from students and parents. In these sessions, students were involved with active participation, play-based activities, presentation skills to increase confidence, team-work and taking initiative.

Since these sessions, we have noticed increased focus and improvement in these areas.

I cannot recommend Viktoria highly enough."

What is Design Thinking or Human Centre Design?

Human centred design skills help to find the most suitable solutions to people’s challenges, however small or big.
We more often than not make assumptions of what people around us might want or need.

Design thinking, in another name, human centre design uses tools which may help to place some structure around creativity. In some cases they inspire blue sky thinking while in other cases they help you narrow down to the smallest part of a problem.

What is the design thinking process?

During the workshops the participants will become familiar with the cycle of Design Thinking via tools that increase the understanding of others’ needs, emotions and thoughts.  They will learn how to conduct research, define the problem, ideate, create a prototype and test it. As this is a continuous cycle there is a back and forth between the steps.
